Stan is an associate in the firm's corporate practice. He works with public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, securities, finance transactions and corporate governance issues.

Stan was previously a summer associate at Akin. Prior to that, he was an intern for the Honorable Gordon Goodman on the First Court of Appeals of Texas.

Stan earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was an articles editor on the Houston Law Review. He holds a B.S. in economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
