Tiffany is an associate in the global special situations & private credit practice, based in the Hong Kong office.
Qualified in Hong Kong, Tiffany focuses on cross-border finance and restructuring matters across the Asia-Pacific region. She represents major institutional lenders, private credit funds and asset managers on a wide range of cross-border finance transactions, including leveraged finance, structured lending, share-backed financings and corporate facilities.
Prior to joining Akin, Tiffany practiced in the Hong Kong, Singapore and London offices of a global law firm. She also completed a secondment at Carlyle.
- Advising an ad hoc group of lenders in the Chapter 11 cases of Marelli, a Japan-based multinational automotive supplier, involving $4.9 billion in liabilities.
- Advising banks and private credit lenders on a unitranche financing with super senior RCF structure to finance a private equity (PE) sponsor’s acquisition of a Hong Kong-based target.
- Advising lenders on a tailored financing solution to support the transfer of an Indian business between PE sponsors and supporting its subsequent corporate reorganization.
- Advising a fund manager as lender on original documentation and subsequent debt restructuring with respect to part-debt, part-equity financing structures for Hong Kong-listed, PRC-based real estate developers.
- Advising arrangers on a sustainability-linked acquisition financing to an Indian pharmaceutical group and its subsequent debt pushdown.
- Advising arrangers on a back leverage for a PE sponsor’s structured investment into a Singapore-based data center business, navigating constraints on creation of security and enforcement rights.
- Advising lenders on parallel financings including under umbrella terms structure to support a property group’s establishment of a data center-focused investment platform.
