Biography
Wenjing is an associate in the financial restructuring practice in London. She advises creditors, insolvency practitioners, corporate security trustees and lenders on financial restructurings and insolvencies. Wenjing also has experience advising on cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining Akin, Wenjing was an associate at a law firm in Sydney.
Representative Work
- Leading Gaming and Entertainment Group: Counsel to a lender syndicate of a leading gaming and entertainment group on restructuring options and formal insolvency processes.
- Energy Company: Counsel to the voluntary administrators of a domestic energy company on its proposed restructuring and asset sale process.
- Semiconductor Company: Counsel to the company on matters relating to its position as the senior secured creditor in a sale process run by administrators.
- Australian Energy Company: Counsel to the facility agent and security trustee on complex distressed debt arrangements following the voluntary administration of a company and the implementation of a deed of company arrangement.
- Healthcare Portfolio Company: Counsel to a private equity sponsor on implications arising from a sale of and insolvency processes involving a portfolio company in the healthcare sector.
- Coal Mining Company: Counsel to the receivers of a domestic coal mining company on creditor security and priority issues in an insolvency context.
