Akin Five Earn The Hill ‘Top Lobbyists’ Honor for Sixth Straight Year

(Washington, D.C.) – For the sixth consecutive year, five members of Akin Gump’s public law and policy practice have been named by The Hill’s annual Top Lobbyists series.
Public law and policy co-heads Brian Pomper and Hunter Bates, along with fellow partners Scott Parven and Arshi Siddiqui and senior advisor Geoff Verhoff, all repeated in the “Hired Guns” category. Akin Gump was one of only two firms placing five individuals on the list.
According to the publication, the Top Lobbyists series honors, “corporate lobbyists, hired guns, association leaders and grassroots activists who leveraged their expertise and connections to make a difference in the nation’s capital this year. […] they all demonstrated a track record of success in the halls of Congress and the administration during a critical year for policy.”
