Akin Gump Advises Lighthouse on Third India PE Fund

(London) – Akin Gump has advised Lighthouse, one of India’s leading, middle market private equity firms, in the final closing of Lighthouse India Fund III, Limited (‘Fund III’) with a value of $230 million, and with additional capital available for co-investment opportunities. Fund III closed on April 30, 2019.

Investors in Fund III include global institutions and a number of global endowments, pension funds and family offices. Including predecessor funds, Lighthouse now advises and manages cumulative assets under management of nearly $500 million.

Akin Gump served as international legal counsel for Fund III, assisting on fund structuring, fund documentation and investor negotiations. Investment management partner John Holton in London led the team advising Lighthouse, joined by counsel Claire Conway.
