Akin Gump Shortlisted in Two Categories for IFLR Middle East Awards 2021

(Dubai, United Arab Emirates) – Akin Gump has been shortlisted in two categories for the IFLR Middle East Awards 2021.

In the Domestic Deal of the Year category, the firm was recognized for its work in EDGE’s acquisition of the remaining 40 percent stake in Advanced Military Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center (AMMROC). Akin Gump represented EDGE in the matter.

Akin Gump international trade partner and partner in charge of the Dubai office Mahmoud (Mac) Fadlallah was also recognized among the Managing Partners of the Year. Earlier this year, Mr. Fadlallah was shortlisted in the Championing Diversity category of The American Lawyer / Law.com’s Middle East Law Awards.

The IFLR Middle East Awards will be presented on October 27 in Dubai.
