BTI Reports Corporate Counsel Rank Akin Gump Among “Power Elite” for Exemplary Client-Firm Relationships

(Washington, D.C.) – In its 2019 Industry Power Rankings report, BTI Consulting Group has ranked Akin Gump among the top 10 firms with the strongest client relationships, based on interviews with hundreds of corporate counsel and legal decision-makers. This places the firm on BTI’s “Power Elite” list, which highlights the standout firms with more of the strongest relationships than any other firm.
The biannual report examines all aspects of the client-law firm relationship, including the likelihood that corporate counsel would recommend their outside law firms to others.
The Industry Power Rankings report is the product of in-depth telephone interviews with more than 600 corporate counsel at U.S.-based companies with $1 billion or more in annual revenue or at global companies with $1 billion or more in U.S. revenue.
Akin Gump has received a number of BTI recognitions over the past year, including being named among the top five firms most often recommended by corporate counsel, and a top 10 ranking in BTI’s Client Service A-Team of firms legal decision-makers single out for best-in-class in client service.
