Geoffrey Verhoff Named to Republican National Committee Finance Leadership Team

(Washington, D.C.) – Geoffrey Verhoff, senior policy advisor at Akin Gump, has been named a regional vice chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC)—one of eight individuals recently named to the RNC’s finance leadership team.
Commenting on the appointments, RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel stated, “[T]his team will employ their extraordinary talent and understanding of Americans across the country to maintain and build upon our unprecedented fundraising success.”
Mr. Verhoff has been at Akin Gump since 2005, and advises clients on a wide range of legislative and regulatory matters at the federal, state and international levels. Before joining the firm, he worked for then-Senate Finance Chairman William V. Roth Jr. (R-Del.). Following that, he joined the RNC’s finance team, leaving for Akin Gump after President George W. Bush's 2004 re-election campaign.
