Akin Gump communications and information technology partner Jennifer Richter has been quoted by Law360 for its article “Transportation Legislation And Regulation To Watch In 2018.”

Richter, whose practice includes advising clients on unmanned aerial systems (UAS, or “drones”), noted, on the topic of a drone integration pilot program announced in October by the White House that would establish test sites across the U.S., “It will be federal regulations that will carry the day here. What's so important [about the pilot program] is that they hear the state and local interests, they understand there are these concerns.”
