Jennifer Richter, a partner in Akin Gump’s communications and information technology practice, was quoted in the Washington Internet Daily article “Trump Seen ‘Breaking Glass,’ FCC in ‘Experienced Hands,’ Less Regulation Expected,” which reports on the different topics discussed at the recent Silicon Flatirons digital broadband conference in Boulder, Colorado.

The issues raised at the conference included FCC reform and the number of existing regulations, but Richter also talked about the future of drone use. She said government is relying heavily on industry to figure out how to oversee drones below 400 feet because key agencies don't have the resources, although NASA, she said is providing “adult supervision.”
