(Washington, D.C. and New York) – Akin Gump international trade partner Nnedinma Ifudu Nweke and investment management partner Terence Rozier-Byrd have been named by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) among its Top 20 Rising Stars of 2021. Akin Gump is the only organization with multiple lawyers selected to the list.

The annual list recognizes attorneys in private practice and in-house roles whose accomplishments and dedication to the legal profession and to their communities place them among those “attorneys to watch.” According to MCCA, those selected also possess a compassion for those in need and a strong desire to give back to others.

This year’s Rising Stars will be honored at MCCA’s 2021 Creating Pathways to Diversity Virtual Conference on October 12.
