National Diversity Council Names Lisa Hearn Among 50 Most Powerful Women in Oil and Gas

(Houston) – Akin Gump partner Lisa Hearn has been recognized as one of the National Diversity Council’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Oil and Gas for 2020.

Ms. Hearn advises public and private companies across the energy value chain in M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate finance matters and issues related to U.S. securities law.

The National Diversity Council’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Oil and Gas list features “the highest caliber of executive leadership within this industry.” Selections were based on several criteria, including leadership attributes, contributions to one’s organization and serving as an effective role model to other women.

Ms. Hearn was previously named by the National Diversity Council as one of its Top 50 Women in Law.
