Akin Gump litigation partner Susan Lent has been quoted by Law360 in the article “4 Transportation Priorities To Watch For Under Trump.”

Speaking about the issue of funding and where the money will come from to pay for some of the projects that President-elect Donald Trump has proposed, Lent, a former counsel to what used to be known as the House Subcommittee on Surface Transportation, said it will be interesting to see what Congress comes up with in terms of different funding tools. “Trump could make decisions about funding and they’re going to be putting out a budget and be making recommendations,” she said, “but it’ll be a kind of quandary, the fact that Congress will have to figure out to pay for things.”
