The UK’s Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation issued a new General Licence INT/2024/4576632 to permit certain engagements with Active Denizcilik ve Gemi Isletmeciligi Anonim Sirketi and Beks Gemi Isletmeciligi Ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi, both UK designated persons.
The OverRuled: China Trade Controls Resource Center has been updated with the following actions:
- 25 Mar 2024 (OFAC): OFAC designated one PRC-based entity and two affiliated Chinese nationals, pursuant to EO 13694, for their roles in malicious cyber operations targeting U.S. entities that operate within U.S. critical infrastructure sectors, directly endangering U.S. national security. This action is part of a collaborative effort with the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of State, and the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.The listed PRC-based entity is Wuhan Xiaoruizhi Science and Technology Company, Limited, and the two designated Chinese nationals are Zhao Guangzong and Ni Gaobin.
