Akin Gump Shortlisted for Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year Award for DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG Work

(Houston) – A deal on which Akin Gump advised has been shortlisted for Latin Lawyer’s Deal of the Year awards.

The firm was recognized in the “Mergers and acquisitions: private companies” category for advising DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG in its acquisition of Sierra Oil & Gas. The deal was announced in December 2018 and closed three months later. (Click here to learn more.) Winners of the Latin Lawyer awards will be announced at an awards dinner in São Paulo, Brazil, on May 7.
