On May 31, 2023, the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control issued a new Russia-related General License (“GL”), namely GL 69, “Authorizing Certain Debt Securities Servicing Transactions Involving International Investment Bank.”
- 26 May 2023 (Japan):
Japan designates 24 individuals and 78 entities as additional sanctions targets. Japan also prohibits the export of goods and technologies to certain additional Russian entities.

Australia has announced an intent to ban exports of Australian machinery and parts to Russia and areas temporarily under Russian control.
