Part 1 of the Russia Sanctions Amendment Regulations (No 3) 2026 came into force. An additional nine entities and 24 individuals were added to the Schedule of sanctioned persons. Part 2 of the Russia Sanctions Amendment Regulations (No 3) 2026 will come into force on September 3, 2026, making substantive amendments to the principal regulations.
- 06 Aug 2026 (UK):
The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation ("OFSI") announced that General Licence INT/2025/5635700 ("GL INT/2025/5635700" or "GL") was amended on July 31, 2026, pursuant to regulation 64 of the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (the "Russia Regulations"). The GL allows for the continuation of business operations with the Relevant Subsidiary, to the extent they are in relation to the Exempt Projects. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this entry shall have the meanings given to such terms in the GL.
- 06 Aug 2026 (UK):
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office ("FCDO") designated one individual and twelve entities, and specified six vessels, pursuant to the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (the "Russia Regulations").
