The Swiss Federal Council adopted further measures of the EU's 19th package of sanctions against Russia. Switzerland already implemented several measures last December, namely new asset freeze designations against 22 individuals and 42 entities, stricter export controls on 45 entities from third countries, further trade restrictions against 116 vessels, and transaction bans on several banks and other companies. In addition, Switzerland also imposed further sanctions targeting Belarus.
