- 25 Aug 2023 (New Zealand):

The Russia Sanctions Amendment Regulations (No 8) 2023 came into force. An additional 2 entities and 19 individuals were inserted into the Schedule of sanctioned persons.
- 21 Aug 2023 (BIS):
BIS renewed its Temporary Denial Order (“TDO”) on Russian company Radiotester OOO a/k/a Radiotester LLC, and on Russian individual Ilya Balakaev.
- 16 Aug 2023 (Switzerland):
Switzerland adopts the remaining parts of the EU's 11th package of sanctions targeting Russia. Switzerland also designates twelve individuals and five entities as additional sanctions targets.
- 14 Aug 2023 (Switzerland):
Switzerland adopts the EU's Belarus sanctions designations and designates 38 individuals and three entities as additional sanctions targets.
- 02 Aug 2023 (Japan):
Japan prohibits the export to Russia of certain dual-use goods that contribute to the strengthening of Russia's industrial base.
- 20 Jul 2023 (BIS):
BIS added 128 aircraft to its list of commercial and private aircraft that are allegedly in violation of U.S. export controls for entering Russia and/or Belarus without required authorization. Separately, BIS updated the tail number of one plane already on the list. BIS published this updated list in late August but backdated the list to July 20.
