Represents investors on a broad array of complex direct lending and hybrid capital solutions, special situations financing transactions, liability management transactions and restructuring matters.
Chris represents hedge funds, private credit and direct lending funds, banks and special situations/opportunistic investors on a wide variety of stressed, distressed and non-distressed lending arrangements, debt situations and funding structures. Chris also advises creditors on the financing aspects of cross-border workouts and financial restructurings transactions.
- Advised private credit investors and banks on various acquisition and other lending structures – including senior and junior instruments, hybrid capital and preferred equity structures, unitranche lending, holdco instruments, fund finance, private placements and whole business securitisation structures.
- Advised Carlyle on an €800m strategic preferred equity investment in Your.World, a leading European online solutions provider, alongside Ares.
- Advised Intrum AB, Europe's largest provider of credit management services, on its investment partnership with Cerberus, and on various portfolio disposal transactions.
- Advised Intrum AB on its agreement to sell a material portion of its investment portfolio across 13 jurisdictions to Cerberus for more than €1 billion.
- Advised an ad hoc group of RCF lenders in the holistic restructuring through French sauvegarde proceedings of iQera, a leader in the acquisition and management of loans.
