Gerald serves as the head of the firm’s U.S. private equity practice. He represents global private equity firms, portfolio companies, and other private and public companies on sophisticated transactions. Gerald is widely regarded as a first-call advisor to some of the world’s leading private equity firms for transformative sponsor transactions and board-level situations.
He provides end-to-end advice on a wide range of private equity transactions, including platform acquisitions, carve-outs and sales. Gerald also represents clients in a variety of other corporate matters, including corporate governance, fiduciary and securities issues, and shareholder activism and defense.
