Jiha Ko helps public and private companies and investment funds with debt finance matters, acquisition, sale and merger structures and offers solutions to corporate governance matters.
With the ability to relate to idiosyncratic client challenges, Jiha also advises on private equity and securities transactions in the energy, manufacturing and technology sectors.
He is also committed to pro bono work for underserved individuals, especially with respect to immigration matters.
Representative Work
- Represented a private equity firm in its serial acquisitions of privately-held companies in the engineering, manufacturing and technology sectors.
- Represented a privately-held financial technology company in its sale to a publicly-traded corporate payments solutions company.
- Acted as counsel to a leading financial institution in its financing of a 105MW solar generation project in Texas.
- Assisted a crossover group of creditors of an independent exploration and production company in the out-of-court restructuring and recapitalization of the company’s debt structure.
- Advised a sustainable investments fund in multiple financings of several renewable energy projects.
