Akin Gump Advises Genesis Energy in $500M Notes Offering

(Houston) – An Akin Gump team advised Genesis Energy, L.P., a Houston-based diversified midstream master limited partnership, in its $500 million public offering of 8.875% senior unsecured notes due 2030 and concurrent tender offer for its outstanding 5.625% senior unsecured notes due 2024.
The notes will be co-issued with the client’s subsidiary, Genesis Energy Finance Corporation, and will be guaranteed, with certain exceptions, by substantially all of its existing and future subsidiaries other than its unrestricted subsidiaries. The offering of the notes is expected to settle and close on January 25, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
