- International trade policy advisor assisting clients in navigating international trade policy and providing strategic guidance on regulatory and legislative matters related to international economic relations, customs, export controls and trade finance.
- Previously served as a legislative analyst for the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
John assists international and domestic clients in navigating international trade policy and regulatory matters with a particular focus on trade remedies, customs and export controls. He has experience in leading high-level advocacy efforts, engaging with senior policymakers and driving policy strategies in support of client goals in a variety of industries including technology, nongovernmental organization (NGO) sectors, aviation, space and defense.
During his tenure at the U.S. Department of Commerce, John contributed to a series of significant antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings including softwood lumber from Canada. John also worked extensively on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) negotiations, working closely with U.S. Congressional staff and foreign governments to strengthen economic cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
Previously, he served as a finance analyst for an international aerospace and defense company where he focused on financial compliance and international business development, and among other accomplishments, led a U.S. Department of State sponsored exchange of aerospace professionals from India.
He earned an M.A. in International Political Economy from King’s College London and a B.S. in Business Administration.
