Representative Work
- Secured a complete victory for an investment funds client in a JAMS arbitration relating to a digital asset investment.
- Defended a trading firm in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigation concerning investment models and alleged violations of whistleblower protection rules.
- Oversaw settlement on behalf of an investment management firm in a breach of contract dispute involving a loan agreement.
- Represented a health care company in connection with U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) cooperation obligations relating to a medical device fraud prosecution.
- Defended a quantitative trading firm in a DOJ investigation involving cryptocurrency.
- Represented investment firms in proceedings before the Delaware Court of Chancery.
- Defended various hedge funds in federal securities actions related to allegations of violations of Section 16(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
- Advised the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Cumulus Media through trial in federal bankruptcy court.
- Defended a prominent hedge fund in an investigation by the SEC and U.S. Attorney’s Office into possible insider trading.
- Defended a multibillion-dollar investment fund in class action litigation relating to control person and insider trading claims associated with alleged accounting fraud by a Korean-based semiconductor company.
- Represents pro bono clients in immigration, family law and civil litigation matters.
