He has successfully defended numerous class actions involving claims for false advertising, unfair competition, consumer fraud, breach of warranty and product defects. Marshall also has litigated complex business disputes involving claims for breach of contract and fraud.

- First-chaired arbitration and obtained complete defense award for telecommunications company in arbitration involving alleged privacy violations under federal law.
- Defeated class certification of proposed product defect class action brought against major automotive company.
- Represented global technology company in several putative class actions concerning alleged misrepresentations in the labeling of consumer and business products and alleged product defects.
- Represented co-founder of leading bitcoin derivatives trading platform in complex civil litigation filed in state and federal courts.
