Mickayla is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice, where she advises clients on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions.

Mickayla earned her J.D. from the Suffolk University Law School, where she was an active member of the business law association and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee of the Student Bar Association. She was also a member of the First Generation Law Students Society. During law school, she served as an intern for a boutique business litigation firm. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.

Mickayla was a member of Akin’s 2024 summer associate class.
