Molly is an associate in the entertainment, sports & media practice, supporting the firm’s music practice. She advises clients at the intersection of intellectual property, technology, media, entertainment and commercial transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, outsourcing, joint development, licensing and data privacy matters.

Prior to joining Akin, Molly was an associate at another global law firm in New York, where she focused on technology and IP transactions. She also served as a law clerk at an entertainment-focused firm in Austin and as a legal intern at a leading technology company.

Molly received a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where she served as managing editor and symposium editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and was vice president of the Intellectual Property Law Society. She earned a B.A. cum laude in individualized study from New York University, with a concentration in copyright and artist ownership and a minor in business of entertainment, media and technology.
