He supports clients by advising on compliance risks in the context of international transactions, advising on the implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures, and assisting clients engaging with regulatory agencies and institutions.
- Advising various clients on European Union (EU)/UK sanctions and export controls —including transaction screenings, licensing, classifications and opinion work— across a variety of sectors, including energy, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, defence, financial services, and data and technology.
- Advising several clients on compliance with EU/UK anti-bribery and anti-corruption rules and assisting with the preparation and development of anti-bribery, anti-corruption and sanctions policies.
- Advising various clients on the application and implications of national security controls for foreign investment and business operations.
- Assisting with the provision of global sanctions advice on complex cross-border transactions to multiple clients.
- Advising several clients on various aspects of EU trade remedies, including anti-subsidy and anti-dumping tariffs and investigations and the processes for participation and compliance.
