Sara has deep experience guiding established and emerging fund managers through bespoke fund structures and complex fund-related transactions. She provides comprehensive guidance on the launch and growth of investment management businesses, from initial structuring and capital raising to ongoing operations. Her clients include large institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, global asset managers and family offices in all major financial centers.

Sara also represents fund managers and institutional investors, such as sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, fund-of-funds, endowments, and pension funds, in their fund investments, including through separately managed accounts, co-investment vehicles and funds of one.

Prior to joining Akin, Sara was an associate in the securities and corporate finance group at a nationwide law firm, where she worked on a range of transactional matters.
