Tenley is an associate in the real estate practice. She advises clients on a range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financing.

Prior to joining Akin, Tenley was an associate at another leading global law firm in Houston, where she coordinated closings and drafted documents for various real estate transactions.

Tenley received her J.D. magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she served as a case note and comment editor for the International Law Review Association and was a mentor in the Academic Success Program. She also holds a B.F.A. in dance performance and a B.A. in religious studies, both magna cum laude, from Southern Methodist University.
