- 30 Sep 2024 (OFAC):
The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") issued General License ("GL") 13K, which extends the authorization of certain administrative transactions prohibited by Directive 4 under E.O. 14024, until 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on January 8, 2025.
- 27 Sep 2024 (UK):
The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation ("OFSI") published the 'Report of Penalty for Breach of Financial Sanctions Regulations' ("OFSI Report"). The OFSI Report explains that, on August 29, 2024, OFSI imposed a monetary penalty of £15,000 in accordance with section 146 of the Policing and Crime Act 2017 against a UK-registered company, Integral Concierge Services Limited ("ICSL"), for breaching regulations 11(1) and 13(1) of the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (the "Russia Regulations").
- 26 Sep 2024 (BIS):
BIS issued a final decision and order dismissing Alexey Sumchenko’s appeal of the temporary denial order (“TDO”) that BIS imposed on June 12, 2024, against Sumchenko, Hong Fan International ("Hong Fan"), Lufeng Limited ("Lufeng"), Skywind International Limited, SkyTechnic, and a number of other entities that were involved a network to unlawfully procure U.S.-origin items for Russian end users.
