OFAC sanctioned certain entities and individuals in the Marshall Islands, India, the UAE, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, as well as certain vessels, pursuant to EO 13224, for their involvement in the shipment of Iranian commodities.
The listed Hong Kong company is Kai Heng Long Global Energy Limited, which is designated for its role in shipping Iranian liquefied petroleum gas worth tens of millions of dollars for Lebanese Hizballah. Hizballah was designated as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist pursuant to EO 13224 on October 31, 2001.
The vessels FENGSHUN, VICTORIA, LADY LIBERTY and PARVATI are being identified as property in which Kai Heng Long Global Energy Limited has an interest.
