- 13 Mar 2026 (EU):
The European Commission (the "Commission") issued new FAQs to provide guidance in respect of prohibitions relating to the "Provision of Payment Services", pursuant to Article 5b(2) of Council Regulation (EU) 833/2014 ("Regulation 833").
- 12 Mar 2026 (OFAC):
The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") issued Russia-related General License ("GL") 134, "Authorizing the Delivery and Sale of Crude Oil and Petroleum Products of Russian Federation Origin Loaded on Vessels as of March 12, 2026".
- 12 Mar 2026 (UK):
The Department for Business and Trade ("DfBT"), together with the Office of Trade Sanctions Implementation ("OTSI"), updated the UK guidance for businesses on countering Russian sanctions evasion (the "Guidance") to provide an updated list of goods and third countries that present a higher risk of sanctions circumvention to UK exporters.
