The OverRuled: BIS Export Controls Module has been updated with the following actions:

  • 15 Jun 2023 - Pobeda Airlines - Finding of Violation

    On June 15, 2023, BIS renewed the December 20, 2022 Temporary Denial Order (TDO) against Pobeda Airlines ("Respondent") to that TDO for a period of 180 days. Specifically, BIS determined that the Respondents conspired to violate U.S. export control laws in connection with the procurement and export of controlled aircraft to Russia without first obtaining the required U.S. Government authorizations.

  • 15 Jun 2023 - Nordwind Airlines; Pegas Touristik - Finding of Violation

    On June 15, 2023, BIS renewed the December 20, 2022 Temporary Denial Order (TDO) against Nordwind Airlines and added Pegas Touristik a/k/a Pegas Touristik OOO ("Respondents") to that TDO for a period of 180 days. Specifically, BIS determined that the Respondents conspired to violate U.S. export control laws in connection with the procurement and export of aircraft to Russia without first obtaining the required U.S. Government authorizations

  • 15 Jun 2023 - Siberian Airlines - Finding of Violation

    On June 15, 2023, BIS renewed the December 20, 2022 Temporary Denial Order (TDO) against Siberian Airlines d/b/a S7 Airlines ("Respondent") to that TDO for a period of 180 days. Specifically, BIS determined that the Respondents conspired to violate U.S. export control laws in connection with the procurement and export of aircraft to Russia without first obtaining the required U.S. Government authorizations.

  • 15 Jun 2023 (BIS):

    ​BIS renewed its Temporary Denial Order ("TDO") on Russian entity Pobeda Airlines for the second time.

  • 15 Jun 2023 (BIS):

    ​BIS renewed its Temporary Denial Order ("TDO") on Russian entity Nordwind Airlines for the second time and added Pegas Touristik a/k/a Pegas Touristik OOO as a related person to the TDO.

  • 15 Jun 2023 (BIS):

    ​BIS renewed its Temporary Denial Order ("TDO") on Russian entity Siberian Airlines d/b/a S7 Airlines for a second time.
