The OverRuled: Russia Trade Controls Resource Center has been updated with the following actions:
- 23 Oct 2025 (EU):
The European Union ("EU") adopted its 19th package of sanctions against Russia. The latest measures are primarily designed to target Russia's energy, finance, and military sectors, as well as trade with the EU, whilst ensuring accountability for Russia's continued war of aggression against Ukraine. The EU sanctions package also includes amendments to the asset freeze restrictions, pursuant to Council Regulation (EU) No. 269/2014 ("Regulation 269"), as well as to the EU's trade sanctions, pursuant to Council Regulation (EU) No. 833/2014 ("Regulation 833"). We note that on October 23, 2025, the EU also imposed additional restrictions targeting the Republic of Belarus ("Belarus").
