Akin Gump Advises Prudential Insurance Company of America in $180 Million Vitro Private Placement

(London) - Akin Gump represented The Prudential Insurance Company of America and its affiliates as investors in a private placement of $180 million of senior unsecured notes issued by Vitro Flat Glass LLC, a Delaware limited liability company; Vitro Chemicals, Fibers & Mining, LLC, a Texas limited liability company; Vitro Packaging, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company; and Pittsburgh Glass Works LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. The notes were guaranteed by the issuer’s parent company, Vitro, S.A.B. de C.V., and certain of its Mexican and Spanish subsidiaries. The transaction closed on December 30, 2020.
