Carone Huang has advised creditors and debtors on complex cross-border restructurings. Her experience also includes advising officeholders and funds which target distressed debt and assets.
Representative Work
- Cineworld: Counsel to an ad hoc group of secured lenders in the chapter 11 cases of Cineworld and its affiliates, the world’s second-largest movie chain, involving $4 billion in liabilities.
- Sungard: Counsel to Sungard Availability Services LP and its affiliated North American entities on the English law aspects of a potential restructuring transaction and in the chapter 11 cases.
- DOF Subsea: Counsel to Nordic Trustee AS, acting on behalf of the DOF Subsea bondholders, in a restructuring of the financial indebtedness of DOF ASA and its subsidiaries.
- VEON: Counsel to VEON in relation to a scheme of arrangement to extend the maturity of certain USD bonds and other related matters.
- Ozon: Counsel to the ad hoc group of convertible noteholders of the $750-million restructuring of Ozon Holdings PLC, Russia’s largest ecommerce platform.
