Akin Gump Hosts 2021 Energy Briefing — Focus on Trends in Carbon Capture and ESG

We are pleased to share a recording of Akin Gump’s annual energy briefing that took place last week, along with the presentation materials and information on ESG legal developments and disclosure frameworks.

Speakers included corporate partners Sam Kamyans, Matt Kapinos and Cynthia Mabry; environment and natural resources partner Stacey Mitchell; labor partner Brian Patterson; and special guests Benjamin Heard of Gulf Coast Sequestration and Natalie Nowiski of Schlumberger New Energy.

The event was held virtually and included the following panels:
