Prosecuting Burning of The American Flag (Trump EO Tracker)

Directs federal agencies to immediately deploy additional personnel, investigate safety violations, and establish specialized units to restore public safety in Washington, DC, with provisions for rapid nationwide deployment if needed. 

Directs federal agencies to detain dangerous arrestees in Washington, DC, pursue federal charges where possible, and apply pressure on the District to end its cashless bail policies. 

Directs federal agencies to prioritize the prosecution of individuals who desecrate the American flag in ways that incite violence or violate existing laws and authorizes immigration consequences for foreign nationals involved in such acts.

Directs federal agencies to identify and potentially suspend funding to jurisdictions that have substantially eliminated cash bail for crimes posing public safety risks, including offenses involving violent, sexual, or indecent acts, or burglary, looting, or vandalism. 

Authorizes Cameron County, Texas to construct, maintain, and operate a new pedestrian border crossing at the Gateway International Bridge in Brownsville, subject to federal oversight, environmental compliance, and coordination with U.S. and Mexican authorities.

Aims to streamline commercial license and permit approvals for United States-based commercial space industry operators. Directs the U.S. Department of Transportation to use all available authorities to streamline or remove environmental and regulatory barriers to launch and reentry licenses. Directs the U.S. Department of Commerce to evaluate States’ compliance with the Coastal Zone Management Act and address state or local limits on spaceport development that may conflict with federal law.

The Executive Order aims to bolster the resilience of the United States’s pharmaceutical supply chain by stockpiling Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (“APIs”) for critical medicines in the Strategic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Reserve (“SAPIR”) and encouraging the domestic production and procurement of such APIs.

Revokes Executive Order 14036 of July 9, 2021 (Promoting Competition in the American Economy) which was signed to enforce anti-trust laws and create the White House Competition Council.
