Biography
- Advises on tax implications with respect to a variety of transactions and businesses.
Jeffrey Whalen focuses his practice on tax matters in the context of private investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, cross border transactions, and restructurings.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Jeffrey worked as a tax manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers advising a range of clients that included Fortune 500 companies, as well as private equity and hedge funds.
Jeffrey received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School and his LL.M. in taxation from the New York University School of Law.
