(Los Angeles) – Variety magazine has once again featured several Akin Gump lawyers in its Legal Impact Report, a list of the top lawyers working in Hollywood.

This year’s list includes partners P. John Burke, who heads Akin Gump’s entertainment practice, Marissa Román Griffith and Christopher Spicer and senior counsel Alissa Miller. The four were noted for their work on deals representing several large U.S. banking institutions, Hollywood studios and Chinese companies.

Counsel Vanessa Roman was highlighted in the report’s “Up Next” section for her work advising East West Bank in a credit facility to Bona Film Group and for counseling Ratpac-Dune Entertainment in structuring its co-financing agreement with Warner Bros. Looking to the future, Roman said, “One area I want to look at is the changing digital world and what I see as being the next trends. I’m interested in how those projects will be financed.”
