Zara is a counsel in the firm’s labor & employment practice. Her practice focuses on complex employment litigation, investigations and client counseling involving the following:
- Class and collective action lawsuits under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and counterpart state wage & hour laws.
- Allegations of discrimination, harassment and other employee misconduct.
- High stakes employment contractual disputes.
- Labor & employment issues arising in corporate transactions.
During law school, Zara was an editor for the Michigan Journal of Law Reform and she served as a student attorney for the Michigan Innocence Clinic.
