Akin Gump Advises Blackstone as Centric Brands Emerges from Bankruptcy

(New York) – Centric Brands LLC, a leading lifestyle brands collective, recently announced that that it has completed its financial restructuring and emerged from voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings, implementing its Plan of Reorganization that was approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Centric Brands is now a private entity with a strategic plan to continue harnessing growth opportunities in its core business segments while identifying new areas for future success in partnership with Blackstone, its majority sponsor, Ares Management Corporation, and HPS Investment Partners.
