(New York) – Akin advised Paine Schwartz Partners–backed HGS BioScience, a leading provider of humic and fulvic products, in its acquisition of NutriAg Ltd., a Toronto-based innovator in bionutritional technologies. The combination brings together HGS’s strength in humic acid-based products, U.S. market presence and manufacturing footprint with NutriAg’s bionutritional product portfolio, Canadian market access and research and development engine.
