Representative Work

Advised Equinor (formerly, Statoil), a Norwegian-based international energy company, in its establishment of joint ventures with Rosneft, including:

Acquisition of a 49 percent interest in LLC KrasGeoNaC (KGN) from Rosneft for $550 million.
Acquisition of a 33.33 percent interest in LLC SevKomNeftegaz from Rosneft.

Advised LUKOIL on a wide range of matters, including:

A$1.45 billion sale of 100 percent of the shares in JSC Arkhangelskgeoldobycha Diamond Mining Company, one of Russia’s largest diamond miners
A$2.05 billion acquisition of 100 percent interest in oil company Samara-Nafta from Hess Corporation.
Establishment of joint ventures with other major Russian oil & gas companies to develop upstream projects in Russia
