Bryan C. Williamson is an associate in the environment and natural resources practice.

Mr. Williamson advises clients on a range of environmental regulatory, transactional and litigation matters. He also supports clients in obtaining environmental permits and project approvals.

Practice & Background

Prior to joining Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Mr. Williamson served as a summer law clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Philadelphia, PA. His work there included supporting criminal and civil enforcement actions under the Clean Water Act, Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA).

Mr. Williamson received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he received the George Shechtman Prize. He served as managing editor of The Regulatory Review, and was associate editor of the Journal of Law and Social Change. Mr. Williamson earned his B.S., summa cum laude, in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.

Mr. Williamson was a member of Akin Gump’s 2017 summer associate class.
