George Burt advises private equity funds and multinational corporations on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate matters, and has experience in a variety of sectors across both emerging and established markets.

- Advised Africa Capitalworks on its investment in Dorman Long Engineering, an international engineering company operating across the oil and gas, telecoms and energy industries.
- Advised on the sale of Capricorn Digital, owner of Baxi, one of Nigeria's leading super-agent networks to MFS Africa, the largest pan-African digital payments platform.
Advised Geiser Asset Holdings in relation to the sale of GeoProMining.* - Advised the Anergi Group in relation to its restructuring and sale of interests in the Cabeolica Wind Project and Kpone Power Plant.*
