Biography
- Advises on domestic and cross-border acquisitions.
Laura advises domestic and international clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions, equity investment rounds, commercial contracts, corporate reorganisations and governance, foreign direct investment and private equity.
Laura offers a commercial mind-set with a keen interest in clients' business, legal and risk issues to enable and support them to achieve their commercial objectives.
Representative Work
- Advised the shareholders of Fastway Couriers, including leading Irish private equity funds MML Growth Capital Partners Ireland and Woodberry Ireland Capital, on its sale to Elysian Capital.*
- Advised US multinational flooring company, Mohawk Industries, and its Irish subsidiary Xtratherm, on its acquisition of Irish and UK based insulation manufacturer, Ballytherm, subject to CCPC approval.*
- Advised key private equity client Livingbridge on its investment in Welltel (Ireland) Limited, a rapidly growing communications company and one of Ireland’s leading providers of innovative phone system and connectivity solutions to businesses, including Voice over IP/IP telephony (VoiP) technology.*
- Advised NH Hotel Group, S.A. on the acquisition, alongside Germany investment fund Deka Immobilien, of The Marker Hotel in Dublin form a group of private investors.*
- Advised Obton in relation to their expansion into the Irish solar market with their acquisition of circa. 200 MW of solar projects across Ireland.*
