Lauren Pflueger leads technical business development and knowledge management initiatives for the European restructuring team. Lauren provides support to the team on their complex transactions and is responsible for monitoring and sharing legal and market developments.
Lauren has extensive experience representing institutional investors, hedge funds, banks and secondary market investors on cross-border and domestic financial restructurings, workouts and insolvencies. Prior to joining the firm in September 2017, Lauren trained and practiced at a magic circle law firm in London and Denmark.
- Hurricane Energy: Advised the ad hoc committee of bondholders of US$230 million convertible bonds issued by Hurricane Energy plc in relation to the financial restructuring of the convertible bonds.
- Interserve: Represented the private placement noteholders and lenders in the financial restructurings of the Interserve group, a UK-based support services and construction provider.
- Endeavour Energy: Advised the syndicate of secured lenders to Endeavour Energy (UK) Limited, an oil and gas company, on the restructuring of its debt liabilities.
- Sungard: Provided advice to Sungard Availability Services LP and its affiliated North American entities on the English law aspects of a potential restructuring transaction.
